The problem

Service businesses — clinics, agencies, dealerships, real estate, professional services — lose 20-40% of inbound calls because nobody picks up. The fixes on the market are robotic IVRs from 2014 or expensive call-center contracts. Neither matches the bar customers now expect.

Our thesis

A voice agent that sounds human, knows the business, schedules into the calendar, and routes intelligently is now achievable — and within 12 months it will be the default expectation for any service business.

What it is

VOXAGENT is a deployable AI voice layer that answers, qualifies, schedules, and routes for service businesses — built on top of a knowledge layer specific to each business.

How it's built

  • Realtime voice models (OpenAI Realtime / Deepgram + Cartesia hybrid)
  • Per-business knowledge layer with retrieval grounded in the company's services + policies
  • Calendar + CRM integrations (Cal.com, Google Calendar, HubSpot, custom)
  • Call analytics dashboard with transcript review + intent classification

Hosting + stack

Vercel (orchestration), Twilio (telephony), Cloudflare Workers (low-latency audio routing).

Approach

  1. Verticalize before generalizing — start with one industry, win it, then expand.
  2. Treat voice as the surface, not the product. The product is reliable conversion of inbound intent.
  3. Build the dashboard the business owner actually uses, not the one that demos well.
