LOT 001 · Community Infrastructure

In Development

TRYNO

The tribe infrastructure layer.

The problem

Creators and educators are stuck on community platforms that treat their audience as a list of email addresses, not as a tribe. Discord lacks structure, Circle lacks intelligence, Skool lacks programmability. None of them give the operator real ownership of the layer their business depends on.

Our thesis

The next decade of community-driven business will run on infrastructure that combines structured spaces, AI moderation, learning paths, and operator-owned data — not another forum dressed in 2024 design.

What it is

TRYNO is a programmable community platform: structured spaces, course delivery, AI-assisted moderation, member intelligence, and a creator dashboard that surfaces what's happening across the tribe in real time.

How it's built

  • Next.js 15 + TypeScript + Postgres + Drizzle ORM
  • AI moderation pipeline (Claude + open-source toxicity classifiers)
  • Vector search across community posts for member-context retrieval
  • Custom payments + entitlements layer (Stripe + per-tier access)
  • Operator analytics with leading-indicator dashboards

Hosting + stack

Vercel (web), Neon Postgres (data), Cloudflare R2 (media), Resend (transactional email).

Approach

  1. Define operator personas: creator, educator, micro-school, internal community lead.
  2. Architect the tribe data model — spaces, paths, signals, member states — before any UI.
  3. Build the operator dashboard first; the member experience is downstream of operator clarity.
  4. Ship the AI moderation layer as core, not as an add-on, so it shapes the product surface.

The goal

Become the infrastructure layer for serious creators and educators running tribes that compound — not the next forum software.
